Fished the Tidal Pool last Sunday on the Crocker, managed my share of Snapper all around the 1,5kg mark. Delicious eating fish.

nice garrick there!! lol @ brad you left early thats why. i managed to catch plenty shad, though i threw them all back. i hooked a hammerhead :ssswim: - that was an awesome experience!!!!
and i got so sunburnt i had to take monday off:::S ( almost 10 hours out there:SSS ) brad we must paddle again some time u need to get fit ::tclaph

Well the Snapper were jumping into the kayak again this morning and we've cracked the code for the consistently bigger fish ::S

Where are you getting these snapper. Went out at around 12 with kribin and picked up nothing except 1 needle scale. We followed the nets until addington and not even a bite.

I think next weekend we need to stalk you lol

12h00 Boet, the fish caught at that time aren't in the water :lol:1. We've had good catches for the last 3 weeks, the best that I and many have experienced in recent times, I have to wonder how much longer this Snapper fest can last. We are usally on the water by 05h00 at the latest, pm me your number and I'll gladly let you know next we're on the water. We got some really nice Shad too, hope this a sign of things to come when the season opens.

Unfortunately we where only available to launch at that time. we normally launch at around 4-5. I really hope they are around this weekend. Will send you my number so we can hopefully meet up this weekend.

hey guys!!! Sorry ive been so quiet lately!! Been sooooooo busy with work hey! managed to squeeze only 2 days of fishing in the last few weeks so thought id keep everyone up to date.

well ive finally moved out of the paddling pool (vetchies) and onto bigger and better places... tried my luck at Umhloti and then this morning we hit Tinley Manor! WOW!!!
well i think im in love!!
We got there early and with a relatively easy launch i managed to get out and thats where it all started :D well sadly i didnt have as much luck as everyone els and after loosing a monster Tuna ... 20kg or even more i still had an awesome day. almost everyone out there caught tuna

well i have not given up hope and have decided to return tomorrow morning to give it another go!

ive put up a pic of some of the fish the guys caught, hopefully tomorrow i get mine !!!
