Hi all,
I've been using my 110h with Daiwa 30sha for galjoen when the sea is rough and strong winds are blowing, as it's nice and light and can handle a 4- 5oz sinker to anchor the bait and you also get blown around a helluva lot less with a light rod, but the rods tip is not sensitive enough for my liking and has caused me to miss a lot of fish.
My old Daiwa 12'6 and policanski work fine in normal conditions, so the new rod will only be used in the extreme conditions I've described. went down to Fishing Specialist yesterday but the lighter rods there all seem to be quoted as 2 to 3 0z and seem to be very stiff.
What i'm after is something in the 10 to 11ft range that can handle a 2 to 4 0z sinker, with a sensitive tip, that's light and will balance with the Daiwa 30. Far casting is not an issue as max will be about 50m.
Can anyone help? All input will be greatly appreciated.
