Hi,welcome,Thats awesome,do you fish there often??I did a trip to Mozambique in August,but it wasa very windy time of the year and there wasnt one day that i could of fished in the surf,only did some estuary fishing and all i gt was a pickhandle

Yes, I have been fortunate to grow up in Umhlanga so I've been heading up to those N coast spots since I can remember. I love the diversity of the species up there those Kingies are killer and get the blood pumping, and if they are quite a nice medium clouser pink over white will have some wave garrick dancing in the shorey! usually a charlie in the same colours will ensure fun with the smaller wave garrick, but the extra size of the clouser will entice the larger one's. If you want more..........stonebream are so thick ov5er the shallow ledges on the low tide they look like sardines, fussy eaters though!

HI, further to my previous reply, i notice you are a local lad. I am so looking for close (to Durban North) shore fishing spots so i can hone my salt water skills to up my fish and species count from 4. Any pointers as to where a chap can get a decent array of sizes and speices close by. I have fished in front of the Casino (ex-snake park area) and caught a small wave garrick - only 1! Tried up near Westbrook to no avail. Have only had 4 salt water outings so not too bad so far.

Anyway, looking forward to a few tips if you don't mind.:raine
