Heard a story about a 66kg cob that was caught on pink prawn in Haga Haga on a light stick. Anybody has some feedback on this?

Got the pics and report via e-mail, but don't want to post it without anglers concent. Maybe somebody knows the guy and get it posted.

It's true. 1,83mtr/66kg Bait was pink prawn on a 2/0 hook and 0.40mm line. Fish was released!!

@ sunshine I also tried to post a link the other day. It seems even informative websites are competitive.

2/O hook !!!!!! i no the fish was released and not trying to be negative but surely keeping the fish buy its gill plate would cause some damage?

Jeez, did that Kob use the prawn as a tooth pick or something? Or was the prawn used as breath mint after he ate a 5Kg Elf.

Nice fish but just one question and I have to ask , why is the fish's gil plate higher on the one side ? I assume he is holding it by the gil plate but look at the height size of where he is holding vs the one side we can see ? Looks a little wrong for me.
