Grey Shark Slaughter

There has been a lot said about certain ski boaters who are apparently clubbing the grey sharks and then selling the flesh to the ozzies. I have noticed the decline where before we would go fishing and catch anything from 5 or 6 greys in a night to 17 which is my record, now over the last couple of months a am battling to get one. last week I fished the salt rock area where you are almost sure to get a grey and it took me almost 4 hours to get a pull. I believe there must be some truth about the guys slaughtering the greys off our coast. What is being done or are there big back hands involved. The down side of it is that when the big sharks come in to feed and there are no greys to eat??? I think we will have a few shark attacks along our coast this summer. ANY BETS???

I second that..the big sharks are gonna be hungry this summer..when i started fishin my first fish was a small grey,it was so enjoyable it got me hooked on the sport!..but since then its becoming harder to target that grey than it is to target a grunter!..wat going on in the ocean?..

Hi guys,

You have my vote, I also was weened on grey sharks and the north coast venues have become sterile when it comes to greys, a few years ago I would pull double figures with the greys now I hve to scratch for a press. The Zambies are going to start feasting on the swimmers or hopefully the surfer boys - sorry we dont get on.

The greys are being pillfered and also bsold to the bigger companies, ever eaten shark it is exactly like your I&J fish fingers.
