Greetings, Just got to Bazaruto island a

Chris gets some sick shots from under water, where you can see the fish jumping out the water and crashing back again.

The fish gets real agitated whenever Chris gets really close to it (so close it actually hits him with the tail in one of the sequences) and just starts jumping all over again.

Which is great for us and Brandon is just clicking away on the camera taking the most sick photos from the top as well…

…the fish jumps so close much of the time that the 300mm zoom lenses his using cannot capture the whole fish

Not wanting to tire the fish to much after a while we decide to wire it so that we can make a healthy release…

…but this little bugger is a real fighter

…and as he feels the extra pressure he starts jumping all over again!!!

Finally we get him again on the leader and he calms down a bit.

Spend some reviving it around Chris who is still in the water…

And release him, in a real good shape as we can see later in the footage.

We never put lines back in the water and just have to ride home immediately.  

But, Ohhhh men what day, we raised 5 Marlin in less than three hours of fishing. 


 The vibe on the boat is right up there and the 2M and Laurentina´s::slo are flowing as we make our way back. 

 It´s great to get anyone´s first Marlin, but especial to get one for such a good mate as Dave, who I knew dreamed of catching one.
And looking into him I can see his over the moon::gp::.  

Everyone is and Chris did a superb job on that camera, getting some very unique shoots!!!

We all are and with the beers flowing at such rate even bite on the express ourselves::craz:rasta!!!

it´s been a real good run…today was the first day on land after 11 straight days in which time we raised about 15 Marlin and released 8, plus three sailfish, way to many sharks  and countless other fish including some beats of wahoo´s, dorado´s and loads and loads of Yellowfin.  


You gotta love this game and this place:dapp:!!!

Doing my last charter for the season at the moment but the SE is blowing quiet hard so we hope to fish from tomorrow afternoon weather permitting. Last fishing day on Saturday, sorry to leave with so many fish still around, but other commitments and looking forward to a break, it’s been a long and tiring 3 months...but who’s complaining...it’s been a awesome season!!!
Any decent fish coming out off Richard’s bay yet ???

My last charter for the season arrived on the 12[sup]th[/sup]. Richard and Billy Brake have been coming back yearly for the last 9 years and this time Richard McGee from the UK also joined them.



That first afternoon went to kingfish alley for some ultra light spinning late afternoon. Young Billy got a bigeye as soon as we got there but it started raining heavily and we had to make a dash!!!

On the 13[sup]th[/sup] went at 9am for a few hours but all was quiet and we made an early return for lunch at the resort.
