If "it" comes along there will be more than just "faceplants" for "it" to worry about. Never really had anything against him. He has however managed to "rub" up the wrong person. Enough about that thou. Just consider coming bud. We need more than two guys there that can actually fish.

Well done Fluke! What a super fish! I got owned by one on heavy gear! Really a great fish to catch, but more skill to land it on such gear!

Thanks, interesting you mention at night. I've heard mixed reports about whether or not they feed at night???

I'm quite certain that about 15 years back they were the culprit of repetitives hidings on way to light tackle while fishing for smaller sharks. I can remember one night not being able to get a bite on fleshy baits but every chokka strip resulted in me being pulled flat and cut off within a few metres.

Personally never seen or heard of big ones caught at night. Seem, much like Bronzies to be more active in Daylight hours

I have seen guys catching eagle rays cast for cast on bloodworm at st. francis.. As soon as the sun came up, they went off the bite

I often think that none are caught because nobody tries??
Best way to find out is go slide some occys and chokka at night I suppose.
My spot at Cinsta would produce Raggies & Greys as well and they will certainly take a Chokka and maybe even an Occy at night if the Duckbills don't oblige so my time would not be wasted.

Fluke I got three in a row on occy leg bud. All in the day. Hooked the last one before sunset. Put the 4th leg out after the sun went down and 0. I must however add that the occy leg was eaten by a cobby later. So, to answer your question. I don't think they feed at night bud.

Got to give credit to Wade for that picture. I was in such a flat spin to get it back that I never even concentrated on the picture. I wanted the 1st pic because it gets face to face and really puts the height of the head in perspective but I must say that the 2nd pic has grown on me. I now wish I had also got a pic from the front with me behind it.
Anyway, as you said, "memories for life" picture or no picture the memory will never be erased from my mind.
