what do you guys think of a shimano nexave and daiwa regal 4i combo for blacktail and grunter? will this setup handle kobbies and leries ? are the mccarthy dropshot products any good?
is it the 7ft nexave or the 6ft6 the 7ft is the one i have it is quite heavy it will work well for cob and leervis but is a bit of an over kill for blacktail and grunter for them the 6ft6 would be better because the blacktail is a small fish and for grunter the rod tip is softer and in my opinon that is important in a grunter rod but the 6ft6 would also work well for cob and leervis so both will work but the 6ft6 will be the better one with the reel to be honest i dont know as i have never used one but have only heard good stuff about it
