Morning u all. I went to Blaauwpan on Saturday for a couple of hours. It agr8 day. Caught 2 x 2.5Kg carps and a 5Kg barber in the 4 hours i was there. i experimented with bait from worms to sweet floaties(caramel and almond), marshmallows and dough(caramel,garlic, strawberry and tutti frutti). I used supercast banana ground feed and mived it with seeds, nuts and crushed corn. on the ground bait i added crazy bull, ox blood and gum tree. The sad thing is though, i was asked to catch and release before i even had anything in a net but a couple of meters away from people were drinking, throwing their bottles around and the music was so loud is unbelievable. nothing was said to them. i will definitly go there again as soon as the sun is shining. enjoy the day. happy fishing :wfish:wfish:ssswim::ssswim::woohoo

Hungry Angler, next time you go there, try FX ball and all on one rods, using a rietvlei trace or a AK47 trace. and on the other use a rietvlei trace, with top hook almond deluxe, and botton hook almond supreme, Red almond over the ball, cast about 180+, or even with a bait boat go out about 700m.  U shall be impressed when u start seeing the 5kg+ carps.

And if anybody keen to cast tomm (18/12/2009), give me a call on 083 283 4170, cause I thing I shall be going there. This goes for rock and surf.  Freshwater, that we can talk, using a p4 weight, can reach about 200+

Morning u all. I am standing at my office window here in kelly road, jet park. The barbers is on the move again. the ground is alive. something to c to believe. have a nice day. has anyone caught something at rynfield dam? heard that it was a very nice dam as well. njoy the fishing.:::S:fst:
