Good morning all ,

After meeting some memebers on Sat at the social .

I would like to suggest or offer any & all interested parties the oppurtunity to join some fellow anglers at Blaaupan dam , on the east rand , near the airport . It has braai facilities , toilets , lapa's .. nice flat ground to cast from .

We generally have a section just for us to cast .

 

We meet every Sunday & practice casting , we have bait presentations .. etc .

You need not be a member of our club , we are open to any angler , novice , learned or master .

We have members from the SA team , Gauteng - A , B & development teams .

 

We can learn & teach each other .

 

FYI , yesterday we had a guy break an Assassin .... :shock:

 

What do u people say . :?

I think I saw you guy's there on Sunday, Do you fish with ABIE and STEPHANUS. I was fishing for Bass on the other side but saw you guy's close to the Entrance

Yep , i fish with them ... Yep fish close there & normally take that whole section ...

Next week some guys from sealine are meeting on Sat Afternoon there ,

Will you pull in ???

I went through yesterday morning, didn't take my rod though was on my way to a braai.

will go again on Sunday and play arround.

what time are you guys meeting on Saturday?

I think about 3pm ...or so ...

Next time you must stop by .... i was there for a bit in the morning & then returned at Lunch time & chilled for a bit ...

The next few weeks should be interesting cos we will be doing prep for our League comp in Cape Vidal at the end of April ....

I will keep u guys posted ....

I do go there from time to time , like this forth coming weekend - Sunday , i will be there from about 8 am till bout 10 am ...

I am working in jetpark next to tham dam.  You guys must see the barbel playing.  can one fish there how do u get in?  Where is blaauwpan dam.  i was a memebr of the SA Air force angling club in Hoedspruit.  I realy need to do some serious fishing without a lot of travelling:fishn

Hi ,you can fish @ Blaaupan ,

I can perhaps meet you somewhere next Sunday & you can follow me to the dam ... I will be meeting some old club mates there for a few casts !!!
Perhaps soemone has Gps - Co Ords ...

Hi Kumz, I would really appreciate it if i could possibly join in. I need some advice from experienced guys on my casting technique. And Im just not getting it. And I am leaving for a fishing trip on the 9th December to the South coast. And after the terrible sardine run this year, I need to make up for it ;)

Could you maybe P.m me some details so i can contact you. Shot man! Oh and the midget who has many holes the size of #12 kendals in his ears is me! Lol. Just some prior warning. So you dont get a fright. Hahaha.

Hey man , sorry we had social on Sat @ leeukop , was long a hardy one .. then i went out Sat nite ,

was a tad bit trashed ..LOL ... I will only be back next year cos next Sat i am at the coast !!!
