Ski Vee - 500

Depending on your budget, Ski Vee 500 with a single 4 stroke - 70 Yamaha (Trim & Tilt) - Ski Vee normally a wet ride (I have one) but I have been on a friend's 500 with an outboard as mentioned above - bone dry ride!

All the suggestions posted by BFC are great!!!

Or speak to Nathan at Boat-a-rama, you are based in KZN?

@bears - I'm looking at the same setup that you bought. How does your boat handle off shore conditions ? Are the 2 x 40's enough to pull a skier / tube ?

I was in the same position a while back...now have 2 boats and everybody is happy::S

BTW I was also a Yammie fan until I was quoted R19k more PER 50 HP 4stroke motor...yes you heard right(Honda 4 strokes were cheapest of any 50 HP motors I could find)

I really don't want to :raine on anyone, but as a member of both NSRI and RNLI can I point out that one of your first purchases with your boat is a set of lifejackets. I note that no one appears to wear theirs in many of the pictures.
Given the number of boating incidents every year, surely its worth the money for your family's safety.
