Getting ready for Angola

After stopping at the Fishing Pro Shop on Monday and spending quality time with Oom Charles Steward I bought a couple of plugs and spoons.

Must say what a pleasure walking into a fishing shop and talking to a guy that has been where you are going and really knows what works and what not.

I decided to remove the trebles from all the plugs and spoons and replaced them with 8/0 and 9/0 Gamagatsu's

I replaced the rings with stronger rings and put power swivels on all.

Then tonight I decided to play around and this is what I ended up with....

I also bought a new split ring plier.

I have a Rapala split ring plier but this one makes changing hooks and split rings a breeze

I will be flying to Luanda on the 9th of Feb for 3 months.

Anytime man,good move tacking those treble hooks of,you will land more fish with singles,way better hookup.The bucktail looks good but hopefully it wont last too long!Well have a few beers on the Kwanza for the boys!

Hey Carlos,

I will be a happy man if those bucktails gets hammered...

Will give you a shout once I am in Luanda and I know how the work set up is.

Hopefully I can get a quick brake away to Kwanza.

Is there any GPS products available for Angola?
