GALLIE HUNT @ MISTY CLIFFS : THURS,14th JULY

Looked at windguru,decided i'm heading to Misty Cliffs on Thurs,14th July.

Should anyone feel the need for speed to heed towards some Gallie hunting with me on Thursday,kindly join in!

a)Was down at Muizies last nite 6-ish pumping prawn & worm,and every time i took a step I trod on Red Bait pods hanging in the 1st wave.There's stacks of red bait,very little room to walk in water!

I will be down in the Hoek soon with my gear and all...so this is the thing....please make a date for a social get together..for lets say the Wednesday 27th at MACS....if this is okay with everyone the more the better....

light SE- sea pics up to 3M , then NE SATURDAY till monday after monday looks good as NW storm tuesday onwards .white mussel for misty cliffs remember to fish the beach closest to the rock ledge some very big fish coming out there .

sorry not much to report, despite a smorgansboard of diffrent baits , all I got was 3 steering wheels (sharks) and a largeish klipvis. The sea was quite large . And Ive yet to still catch a Gallie, oh whell next time! seven years and counting ..... Im a kak gallie fisherman.

To Walt thanks for the great day - my fingers are not so happy after all the scratching around for worm, I enjoyed the day cheers.

We fished Misty Cliffs and Soetwater for the records.

Uncle Walt! When last did you try infront of the lighthouse? A mate of mine got so me good fish there on coral worm and mussel bait. Good luck. Thinking of u guys in cpt while im KLAPPING the shad here in kzn. Lol
