World RHINO DAY is on 22 September - it's aim is to raise awareness about one of the most endangered animals on our planet - the White and Black Rhino - attacked by poachers under the false perception that its horns have medicinal properties.

- “Paint-a-thon†at Greenwhich College in Johannesburg. Student volunteers are giving up their Saturday night to paint pictures of rhinos. The emphasis is to paint at night in order to also raise awareness that this is when the rhinos are most vulnerable.

- Get hold of a Save the Rhinos bracelet to help this organisation with its conservation of the endangered rhinos in Africa and Asia.
