Folding H/L frame

Hi guys I'm taking on a DIY folding L frame. I've costed the square tubing and will use connect it connectors to put the frame together. I've checked the H frames in store and they seem to have an adjustable insert which straight joins the two aluminum tubes with a sleeve over it to lock it. To fold you simply lift the sleeves and fold the frame. Does anyone know where in KZN I can get these adjustable insterts/connectors? I've tried almost every store in the Durban area and they only seem to keep the connect it elbows/2way/3way or 4 way connectors. To order it online from connect it is just now worth it after delivery.

Maybe upload a little sketch of what you propose, then it will be easier to give advice.
But you could always just make a hinge with a cross-brace and bolts with wing nuts. Easy enough to fasten or loosen

Jeeez I've been looking for the name of it, trying to see what they use on the built ones in the shops. Scaffolding brace pin is what the knock and pop rivet in the ones in the hops then fit a slightly thicker sleeve over to lock it. Seems this only works for round tube.

IMHO this is an overcomplicated solution, get your hands on some nylon webbing, cut 2 pieces of the same length connect it on the sides, use SS hinges to connect back to the bottom and bobs your uncle. I done this for my one many moons ago and it's still holding strong, here's a simple sketch of what it could look like, this is how i built mine.
