Hannah Montana Seaducer
Background
The name Hannah Montana Seaducer was chosen because of the Hannah Montana hair extensions I use for the eyes. The rest of the fly is pretty much the same as a Seaducer.
Material
Hook: Gamakatsu #4 B10S
Thread: Red
Tail: Mixture of hair extensions, slender saddle hackle and saltwater flash
Body Green & Red Marabu
Eyes Hair extension clips
Optional: Lead wraps for extra weight
Step 1
Attach the thread to the hook and add lead wraps for extra weight
Step 2
Cut a piece of the hair extension to be used as the tail in combination with saltwater flash
Step 3
Tie in the hair extension piece and saltwater flash
Step 4
Tie in the slender hackles for the tail.
Step 5
Tie in Green Marabu (or colour of choice). Pull the Marabu fibres back and hold them down when tying off.
Step 6
Repeat with Red Marabu.
Step 7
Cut the spring eye off the hair extension.
Step 8
Tie in the bead eye and apply poxy.
Note: The little fake diamond/ruby eyes are quite loose inside the springs. The Poxy not only finishes your fly off nicely but also secure the little ruby in the spring.
