Goeie more almal.Na maande se gespook en spartel het ons uituindelik dit reg gekry om ligtyd te kry op top tv om ons eie jetski fishing progam te begin skiet.Alles is nou gereed om te begin.Ons het bekende name in die sang industrie en rugby wereld.Ek is opsoek na n profesionele jetski hengelaar watondervindig het.As iemand dalk so iemand ken ?

En dan wil ek graag julle vir voorstelle vra.WAT WIL JULLE BAIE GRAAG SIEN

I would definately make contact with Larry aka Brown Dog and Wayne aka Tusker. Both are extremely experienced jetski fisherman with knowledge that out weighs there reputation. I'll pm you Larry's number.

 

I hope that this venture is going to seriously open more doors for us.

Well even if you can only start with the basics such as trolling with bait, conas, rapalas somewhere on north coast or mozambique

then theres always room for expansion to vertical jigging, dropshot, targetting billfish etc.

come guys help danie out

Try and cover all the different facets jigging,drop shot, trawling, drifting , bottoms but do this all over the country East london, PE, CT, etc not only Natal for instance. Get into contact with jet ski anglers all round South Africa and get them to take the guys out to there local hot spots. Viewers want to see angling from there part of the world too.

My 2 cents.

What about some tips on launching and beaching, identifying and avoiding sand banks. New ideas on trailers eg rollers instead of pads, battery winch instead of hand winch.

Ja Mick has also entered the jetski scene and knows the upper south coast area like he knows his wife :)

 

Danie there is so much to talk about. From how to get started to how to land that prize fish. If you spek to guys like Larry he'll be able to supply you with more info you could ever  think of using.

 

And yes, don't focus on one area only. our coast streches for 1000's of km's and there are area not fished off jetski's cause of stupid local rules. maybe targeting these areas will open the door for locals from these areas to enter the sport too.

 

Also use local guys on the show too. giving some exposure to the local guys.

Awesome news Danie! Well done on using some initiative!!!

What about Shooting the series as a potential jetski fisherman would go about things. From reviews on different ski's, getting your skippers ticket(and the difference between the categories), getting the right gear, reviews on fish finders, rods, reels etc. How to beach, launch, live bait(and how it should be kept), artificial lures etc. Also like some of the guys were suggesting, show different parts of the country, as to give the guys options on where to go fishing.

NB, PLEASE MAKE A DVD OF THE SERIES, some of us dont have top TV!

really good idea. a lot of guys are new to the game (including me) and need all the help they can get. Also, maybe run through the various skippers licenses you can get for a jetski and the requirements in order to get the skippers.
