Fishing?Boat Trip in Durban Harbour

I spoke to Hameed (Raza786) he is available this weekend for a trip. If anyone is interested in going this Friday (06/04/07) please let me know. We need a minimum of 6.

I've got 3 guys including myself.

This friday is a public holiday, so it will be a morning trip. Most guys launch at around sunrise. I will confirm the launch time with Hammed.

Went out with Raza ,what a super time we had ,Boat is really cool , we bagged about 17 different species (grunter,Salmon,reds,bonito ) and plenty of toby and banana fish

 

Manage to land couple bonitos on dropshot as well

Fished by the coal mine side near entrance , caught salmon,grunter ,bananas ,tobee ,bream ,reds .sizes were between .5 and 2kg with the smaller ones (.5 to 1 kg released )

Also caught the fish in attached pic  ,dunno what species ,also around 2-3kg

we then went to near the sandbank and were catching a lot of spotted grunter on prawn and berkley bloodwurm .

With the dropshot I was using the berkley 2' glow minnows and landed bonitos with that  ,I had a couple misses which chomped the lure right off

If u can take the peel of it then you can eat it!!!

Only problem is how would I know if its ripe underneath.....wouldnt wanna peel it unneccasarily ::H::H
