Hi all.
I used to fish as a young girl with my dad guiding me. It's been a while. My 8 year old son is very keen to try fishing - he's even asked Santa for a rod and reel.
I'd love to take him somewhere so he can experience the thrill of fishing, but without making a full commitment to buying rods and reels and tackle etc.- just want make sure it's his "thing" before spending money.
Can anyone recommend places to fresh water fish in or around Cape Town (say hour and half drive radius) where we would also be able to rent the rods,reels, tackle etc?
My husband mentioned farms out Worcester way where he thought there were stock farms where one can fish?
