Hi Roland

Awesome report.Thanks.
I see you mentioned Paradise beach for a ray that you caught. Would you say that spot produces good edibles too or would you rather target Kabeljous?

Thanks again!

Thanks for sharing Roland, i know Jeffery's very well, and have fished the stretch between the 2 points, known as checkers beach. Caught lots of shad and cob, and also sandys and shy-shark. I always stay at a place called Dirkies Dream, and book the unit closest to the beach. That 'checkers' beach is most productive at sundown and into the evening.Another tip i learned from a few locals. The best spot on that beach,is a point straight ahead of the wooden stairs leading down to the beach from Dirkies Dream. Dont be afraid of the rocks.Check the spot out on a low tide, and then fish it on a high. I've seen a few Big Cracker come out there, but you must have very strong tackle to be able to bully the fish to come your way. Also that spot is extremely productive for sizer Blacktail and other scratching specimens. Tight Lines

Hi Roland

Thanks for the info. Must come thru some time and get some bloodworm when see flat and make a plan with u. I will bring my dog with to watch our backs to fish checkers at night. He is incredibly protective cos he has siberian wolf blood in him. He is a meneer.

cheers

my personal preference will be kabeljous up towards gamtoos side. ive caught some shad here and my wife once caught a "ag moeder" juvenile catface rockod there.

now u see the green arrow? this is where most guys ive spoken to swear by the spot for bronze bream and hotties. nice flat banks of "green" rocks there. havent targeted them yet, but will give it a go sometime

Hiya Roland,

Havoc and I fished Raggie Hole last summer on a Spring Low in a pumping East wind. We only fished for about three hours cause the wind mad it impossible.

That was the first time I had fished there and have always wanted to go back again. I was told that it fishes better at night and that's what makes it difficult for us PE boys!

We managed three nice Raggies this being the largest. I def want to make another session there this summer an will let you know to join us!

Nice report and great to share info so freely on Sealine...Well Done!

lol, i remember that one, think u had a cold one at walskipper or tappas before u went there. the one night last december , we managed 7-8 between 3 of us, went with pietman. between the 7-8 landed, we lost 3 or 4. and my pb being 40kg. this was when i still struggled to cast , so i landed in the pre school with the shad heads. now , will def be another story. come long weekend i will a session there with shorty and hopefully imptove that pb

Baie mooi. Thank you Roland :clap12. My heart gets a little sore now, having looked at the pictures you just posted. I tried to get bookings at Dirkies a month ago already, for this long weekend, but that place was already booked out ! Also tried the Pinnaquin, also no luck there. So for now, i will have to rely on your pictures and postings to keep me going !
