a - baardman , elf , kob , blacktail

b - elf , lessers , kob , steenies

c - beeg elf (sometimes) , bronzie(tjies) , rags

d - beeg elf , some big pick ups

A is my most favored spot, safe at night when i fish alone. always guys there. this spot works best with a flat sea and some white water, chuck a bloodworm here and whalala, baardman

B and 8kg kob and 6kg steenie was landed here in the past 3weeks by a friends brother. there was also cracker that came out here in the winter. steenies also didn't swim past redbait

C i like early morning cos of some nice shad i get here. high tide must be around 7am. i normally pitch up there at about 5h30.

D been there ones. bitten of twice and some nice shad caught here. still have the heads lol

wading is required here at high to get over the drop. i fish 80% of the time alone and feel safe enough to do so, specially early morning , the people start walking and jogging round about 6 am.

theres 2 oomies and 2 aunties that goes for a swim clock work at 6h30 every weekend morning , even in winter.

now that i figured Google earth , thanks koper , i'll show some of my other favorite spots

Roland, i see all of your fav spots is north of mainstream JBay ! Any particular reason that you dont fish, or dont like sites south of where you've currently indicated ?

there is 2 others , towards aston and paradise , as for the heart of j-bay, well for some one that fishes alone those places are no goes cos of all the intoxicated "scum" everywhere. if u know jbay , opposite checkers in da gama rd , is a spot that i desperately want to fish but cant alone. 30+ drunkards lurke around there everyday

checkers

this spot i haven't fished yet. need to be a group IMO. the red lines indicate where all the drunkards sits and just "gis" . its a deep hole. years back when i still lived in pta i visited my dad and saw some guys catch a shark doing kite fishing. dad caught some cob and flatfish here.

i need 5 guys to fish here with me, any volunteers?

Hi Roland

Awesome report.Thanks.
I see you mentioned Paradise beach for a ray that you caught. Would you say that spot produces good edibles too or would you rather target Kabeljous?

Thanks again!
