WOW looks like plenty hard work,sure it will be worth it the first time your into a big one. One question I dont see any kind of a kill switch, if not maybe a good plan. Boats are a lot more stable so the chance of falling out is a lot less so maybe even one of them prop protectors. I tend to fall out of things like that in the sea so my mind always goes to safety and how do I stop it. Enjoy and once again well done.

Good question, during the trail and error part of the construction I did actually install a kill button, but I found that since the motor is so close to the water I had problems in a chopy sea that caused the kill button to go wet and Me ending up with no engine. What I did to solve this problem was to adjust the accelerator function that on full closure of the hand accelerator lever the engine would cut out due to fuel starvation. This method works better for me as I quickly learned how to operate the feul lever. Regards Chock
