Recon its worth a visit? If so what type of Bass, small or big mouth. Where in Edenvale is it as I am also in Ravenswood. Also been looking for some nice spots around the are but looks like they have all been polluted!!!!!!! Was reading that the university have undertaken an action plan the rejuvinate the Boksburg lake back to its best. They started in 2007 with Airators for the water and a sludge removal plan... I think by the time they finished I would most prbably be back at the coast lmao!

Ha, I know where that is Which road should one take to get there and what is that body of water above the quarry!!!!

Take the road that goes to the builders warehouse and just drive past it , there will be a gate go through it and you will get another gate, the guy's number will be on there it says Fishing phone *******.
I can give you a few places where we have been near boksburg to catch bass if you want...

Hi Guys,

New to the site and hoping you guys can help?

I haven't been fishing for a while and would love to get back into the action. My dilema is that my daughters want to fish with me, and I do not know where the good safe spots are. I have been looking at the posts here and alot of the places that the guys are referring to are resorts and the like, what I am looking for is a Day visit, somewhere that i can go on a Saturday or Sunday drive, on my own or with the family.

Any help would be great.
