Eastern cape venues trout / yellows

I live in pe , and know only a few places to fly fish.

Hi. I know of dams outside east london. The one is in stuterheim. Its called Gubu dam. Excelent dam. Huge with all the diferent areas u can wade with litle creeks and corners and turns. Stunning place. Then in King Wiliams town also outside east london there is a dam called rooikranz. it has two dams, one with bass and the other a smaller beautiful dam called Maiden dam. I used to fly fish up that way when I used to stay in east london. Sory, but that's the nearest dams I know off. Good luck.

Other than the venues I suggested also remember you not to far from Rhodes and Maclear that probably has the best river for trout in our country

Depending how far you're prepared to drive thrift dam is around 3.5 hrs and in my opinion is the best Stillwater in the country. Google Martin Davies if you interested. Queens town club dams are also awesome and have little fishing pressure, my old man in chairman and they regularly get fish up to 10 lbs. google the club and all contact details will come up.

Gubu is an awesome dam but can be very tough, but I think watch this space as there are changes on the cards there which could restore it to its former glory.
