Thanks for the info.

We are comitted to go.

Good thing the rains did not happen last weekend, because we were riding motorbikes through the rivers, from Cebe to Mazeppa and back to Seagulls.

The Bikes was last weekend, but this coming one is diving and fishing.

We are worried that the rivers have come down and the water will be dirty.
I am new to Mpande, where is it situated ?

;)Got some good looking systems coming along the coast at the moment and its a west wind for tomorrow and Friday , should warmk the water up quite a bit AND things are looking good for Saturday , although tides are bit off for early AM throwing as our Jikeleza likes a good outgoing to low tide....

Will update closer to the weekend...

;)Ok boys n girls...I am the eternal optimist ...BUT..as Ive said before from end 2017 to at least start of 2020 season...JOH...weather systems were all over the place and i certainly found conditions to be pretty odd to say the least...

NOW..Im not saying fish were not caught ...BUT...prior to this , I could damn well set my TO GO fish clock by watching the systems hit our coast...NOW...as you look at this synoptic , it creams GO FISH to me with that little coastal low sweeping past us and that large high ridging in...

Your window of opportunity will be Saturday from 09h00 through to 13h00 before that beastly eastly picks up...

All this while the baro would be rising AND with today and tomorrows west wind the cleaner and warmer water will be inshore and most welcome indeed!!!...

Will post a final water temp report tomorrow ...

;)Mornings Folks ...well , I muat admit it certainly does look good for a throw this weekend , especially tomorrow ...

As you see that high is ridging in and we coming off of a low pressure and a west wind...

The water looks good and the colour has cleaned up a heck of alot..temp should have also come up a bit...

Tomorrow sees you with a neap low at 12h30 and on Sunday at 13h20...

I say your best window will be tomorrow 2 hours to low as that baro will top out at around the 1028hpk mark and that west will be light air...you will need to get busy before that beastly eastly comes through in the afternoon...

Sunday is actually the better fishing day , solunar wise , BUT...by 09h00 that beastly eastly will be puffing pretty stiff...

Spots to look out for along our East Coast will be Glen Gariff and also the Cefane beach area on the outgoing...

Tight lines and JUST GO FISH!!!::tight:

:)Mornings Folks , ...Saturday I got down to my spot at 09h30 and low was at 12h30..water looked pretty good, colour and temp was spot on...not the right time of day for kobbie on spoon BUT always nice to scope ones spot out at a different time of day...although it was a neap tide sea , the water was a bit up and a westerly surge was running...what i did notice that the shallows was teeming with bait fish and then when i went down on Sunday at 11h00 water was even better but the baro had topped out at 1029hpk and it was now dead steady....the shallows and gullies had tons of small shad zipping about and with that in mind i was thinking , must be a kobbie about....

BUT alas , nothing...time of the day and we now look to the coming weekend and early AM outgoing tides...stay tuned...
