Morning trendies so report from yesterday, eish what a days fishing,didn't catch but got properly stuffed up. So we arrive and send out 2 yellowtail heads as bait, it was into the wind so I didn't get too much distance with my cast as I was using a 1.4mm leader, then I casted brads rod at the water tower slide out a tail head and waited,50 minutes later and brads rod goes zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz pick up the rod to see a blackfin jumping and splashing on the waters surface 150m out ,it then takes another few metres of line when all hell brakes loose, the anti-reverse in the reel(Fin-nor 30) failed and result was a massive overwind which broke the reel seat and bent the handle of the reel completely, anyway so I'm trying to fix this mess while the blacktip is still on but it's too late I feel tension and a few seconds later pop,off a few words came out my mouth that were censored but ja thats fishing. So anyways back out with another tail head and at around 6pm off it goes another blacktip but this one dropped the bait after a 20m run or so, we saw the tooth marks in the bait,definitely another blacktip, so after that I sent out the head again and waited for another 20 minutes, then we decided to leave.

Didnt want to put a pic here...BUT...in 20 min him and I filled a black refuse bag full of nylon , pillie boxes . beer bottles etc etc.......Actually the last time I was at Lennies , Leon and I filled a refuse bag each with all the crap on that point!!!....Its terrible....I mean it wasn't only fishing stuff...we even picked up a half a loaf a bread!!!!...Which we broke up for the gulls....
