Does anyone know if fishing off the beaches and ro

Does anyone know if fishing off the beaches and rocks is permitted on the island of Nosy Be Madagaskar and if so is the fishing worthwhile? Planning a holiday there next month and trying to work out whether to pack surf kit or not.

You can fish wherever you want in Nosy Be; my last trip i was cleaned up big time by a GT off the side, just around the corner from the hotel.

Which hotel are you staying at.

Thank you for the info, I am going to the Amarina Hotel. There seems to be good fishing spots in the vicinity if I look at Google earth.

I was going to stay at that hotel when i worked in Mada, but ended up not going.

The point on the right hand side will 100% have Big GT's lurking. Really looks like a deadly spot.
