Deep Cycle Batteries

Hi Guys,
Does anyone know where I could find affordable Deep Cycle Batteries in Gauteng?
Preferably 102AH or 105AH.
I have called a few places but they want to rob my hard earned cash....

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the replies.
I will drive through to the bloke selling "new" batteries on Gumtree and see for myself.
Quoted me R820 for 102AH Royal and R860 for a 107AH Deltec.

the 107 deltec sounds really cheap

Keep in mind - the Royal and Deltec are one and the same battery, same factory, if same amps it's just the sticker on top that's different, and I have seen R400.00 price differences between the two......

Hey pitbull, I have not been able to go look as yet...been snowed under at work and same with weekends. I will definately do so somewhere this month.

You can get the Royal 102amp at Ali's Electronics in Pretoria West, Souter street, at R775.00 (VAT Incl.) each

I use Deltecs, bought them at Deltec in Pinetown (they should have branches country wide??) Anyway, they might cost a bit more than the others. Prior to me buying new batteries I did a bit of research, and only read positive reviews on Deltec. Furthermore a boat tech endorsed them as well.

Hi Guys,
Thought I'd best let you know that I have purchased a secondhand leisure/deep cycle battery from a fellow sealiner. Unfortunately it is not a big battery at around 50AH but big enough for my short sessions...I will have to try out the above places when this one packs it...
