Didn't want to high jack Rory B post so here it goes.
Everything dyed red (red permanent marker also works)
Head - Deer hair, same as you would make a deer hair poper just heavely weighted hook shank.
Body - hair dubbing
Tail - buck hair still attached to skin (I put surf wax on it for protection)
Eyes - 15 kg fishing line'V' shaped and burnt.
Hook - depends on size of fly (size six here)
Legs - spinnerbait skirt (helps keep the fly weed free)
Feelers - Glued deer hair not pruned for head
Fun fly to make but not so many places to fish it...
