Made it!!!
Was in front of the tv when chariots of fire played and survived until the 12 hour cut off. Felt very sorry for the people who did not make it, but it is like blanking.
Can't watch it anymore as it's not popular in Australia (everyone watches their strange 'footy' thingamabob here). What used to help me stick it out was liberal amounts of biltong, a big braai in the afternoon and a few beers towards the end...
