Hi Racer
Fish Munga is going very well. Thanks for asking.
Had the hull resprayed recently as well as the centre console so she feels brand new! Also had a new screen made for the console as well as bought new port and starboard lights.
In terms of the trailer did the following:
-had a new galvanised trailer frame built with an extension for launching at the pedsac slipway.
-installed docking boards on the trailer with HDPE sheets to make for an easy launch.
-bought some new LED lights for the trailer and got rid of my old docking board! Launching is now a dream.
-bought galavanised rims for the wheels
Fish Munga is now basically a new boat!

Fish Munga stole the hearts of many members. Really enjoyed the build and it gave a lot of us inspiration.

To launch in the PE harbour you will need the following:
Join Pedsac
Have a VHF radio as well as VHF license (there is an exam you have to write)
Comply with the SAMSA checklists for the category applicable to you. See Pedsac website for the checklists. http://www.pedsac.co.za/boat-safety.html
Have a skippers license
This should cover it!
