Caught a Cob @ Wolfgat

Cob was not quite plate-sized as can be seen in Pic!

Cob was caught at 3 hours after High tide,midway between tides;

Bait used was Octopus Leg/Tentacle;

Gear used : Loomis & Franklin Rod;Saltist 30H;0.40mm Suffix Synergy line; 4/0 Hook

Damages incurred : Rodstand needs slight realignment as Joe had a real craving for Okkie Leg,hehehe!

Probably be there Sat morning myself.Is it safe?I don't fish there unless there's other cars & anglers and the anglers that i have met there for first time are super guys & are really friendly guys only interests being to nail some fish & to shoot the breeze about fishing.pm your nr if you want to hook up.Cheers!

Well Went with Walt and Baldrick this avvie to Wolfgat.....
Baldrick got 2 great pulls and went on to something big that got the better of him.

Walt Thanks for showing us the ropes - it is truely a privledge to meet and fish with some of the great people on Sealine.

Sadly the fish did not show but such is life but a great day on the beach was had....
