I've downloaded all the mpg's etc on the Net on how to throw a Cast net, but I'm still battling to get the net to land in a nice neat circle. Anyone been here before and got some tips on how to?

hello reefman

i for one have never really learnt how to through a cast net properly.

in all my years its the one facet of fishing that i just cant seem to master.

i guess we just have to keep trying harder and harder thats all.

maybe we should get a cast net clinic going in all provinces just a thought.

Reefman. Its great downloading all the instructions but the only way to master it is to practice. Try throw in a round motion. Everyone has their own favourite method that works for them. Also try practice while standing waste deep or more in water as the water often hampers the action. Good luck and don't give up.

Interesting Predicament , but both of you keep your names we can tell the difference.

One is from KZN and the GB (Gordons Bay) .
