Oooooh... Jees I've never thought of it that way,,, I would have thought the big buggers jus stomp all over the lil guys, but I see what u mean, so the bigger fish prefer staying clear of the masses. Really didn't know that. Cool man. Shot a lot 4da advise.... Muchly appreciated...

I have been there a few times recently,

We normally go fishing on the Left handside ( other gate at the entrance - no ablutions)

We caught on floaties and SWD (Sweet white Dough). Garlic, FX, and Banjo floaties. my mate was hitting them on Bunspice floaties too.

On the Bom Looti, FX Banjo, TCP

Good day,

I also usually fishing the spot Big truck refered to, last time i went we caught over 20 +/- 1 KG carps on earthworms topped with a small soft bunspice floatie dipped with a little green TCP fishing about 40 meters out.

Regards

Jonathan

Havent been there recently, but the place has usually treated me well, regardless of where I sat - just beneath the ablutions or on the left side of the fence. Casting closer to the other side bank has been quite productive, quicker bites and bigger fish. Garden snails or Platties work well for the Cats, I caught an 8kg cat on snail (x2 on a big circle hook). For carp, like the guys mentioned,  earthworms work well, I actually hook 2 earthworms tipped with a garlic floatie, landed a beautiful mirror early last year on this bait combo - FX and garlic on the bom.

Hi Guys

Aqua Via was one of our favorite spots to fish at until November when we got there and the oak that manages the place said the land has been reformed and that the owner living on a farm nearby had been shot. He mentioned that safety is becoming a major issue as the gate to the venue are not being closed anymore and fences had been damaged.

Any one else that have heard anything about this?

was there this weekend and didnt have any issues. Only complaint i had was that if you go through the gate on the left the grass is long and there are lots of weeds blocking access to the water front. other wise the ablutions were clean and the water front if you go through the gate right in font of you is fine.
