Hi Guys
I fish off a 30ft Leecat with 2 x 175hp suzuki motors for offshore fishing out past cape point, so not generally the place you'd expect me to be posting, but never the less....
As I also skip the boat, I find very little time to do some relaxing fishing without a care in the world. I love rock and surf, but seldom find a spot and time to both fish and spend time with the family until I started CARP fishing!
Woohoo I simply love it! If you find a good spot you can camp, set up the braai, entertain the family and fish to your hearts content! a win win for all...
Although I'm not a big camper and prefer a cabin or bungalow or house, I am very curious to know where one can find some good carp fishing spots around the Western Cape / Boland area without having to drive for hours and where you can entertain the whole family... possibly even rent a cabin to stay over etc.
I've learned to start catching bit by bit bigger carp and currently running in the 6kg+ area so if anyone knows of a good place where one can fish for decent sized carp with good facilities, please let me know?
