leervis in the cape area, can only think that you guys would vcatch them summer time. not up to date with the fish in your region. leervis move up north during winter time to durban and up to st lucia.

so my money is early summer.

Hi thats a meneer cracker! I know last year this time there was a guy that got small leeries at blakes in strand on the fly rod.

Sandvlei does produce some leeries in winter, not sure after this recent cold front but maybe some sandvlei experts can advise better

there are giant leeries in Sandvlei, i have been busted up there a few times!!!!!

been said before, the two oceans aquarium has released all the leeries that are too big for the tanks into Sandvlei!!

Zandvlei is a good place to start, then on occasion some are caught in the surf using poppers and big rapalas.  Then another good place during summer is to the left of the wooden jetty in the strand spinning for them off the concrete blocks
