Hi, perhaps not the answer you looking for, but what I do with the "dry" or used ones I put them in the Berkley tub, you know the ones you buy in the tub with the "juice"?

Cheers

I heard that guy's put the oil from tins of sardines in the berkley tubs when they run dry and let them worms soak up that fish oil and smell. The wife has a couple of tins of mussels in the cupboard....maybe I should try some of that oil.

Ja Serra Moz, I'm not sure if the fish oil will attract fish....I know it will attract the neighbors cats. I will definitely give it a go though.

LOL...true perhaps an Alley Cat?

Then again the fish oil might damage the plastics as well, becoming brittle or mushy? I will do a test on my next d/shot outing?

I put my dried up worms and squidies in some water, and after a few days, they were much softer but there was a bit of muck in the water (maybe bacteria or fungi if these things really are biodegradable). I added some vinegar because that Gulp juice has a bit of vinegar smell to it. I know vinegar softens chewing gum, so maybe it'll work on the plastic as well.

Just using water definitely softens them up. Hopefully the little bit of vinegar will stop any thing growing in that juice.
