Thanks for the comments guys will be tying some more soon. Just need to get some clear epoxy to stick on the eyes and seal them in place and some nail polish for the collar. Tying is quite enjoyable but pouring them seems to be dam hard :D I need a melter but dont like the idea of purifying lead first to pour

A few will be on its way to you soon!! The bigger ones are harder to pour since the ladle I currently got is a bit to small to pour them easily. Im getting myself a lyman casting dipper should be able to pour the bigger ones with ease then

Hope your wife isn't as :cens:X::cavmn:swear:cens::cavmnoff with you as mine is with me for spending some time in the garage? Anyhows it shows that you're really been spending time in the garage, those look GR8. Now you need to get them wet and remember to take pics of the fish that got fooled by them!!!! Keep it up!

Haha not in the garage I made them in the kitchen:p all my handywork happens there I just have to clean up afterwards and im in the clear :)

Geez you're lucky, I'm not even allowed in the garage (cause then she's alone) not too even mention or thinking of mentioning the kitchen, cause that'll be the quickest and cheapest sex-change ever recorded.

Haha my wife might even buy me a lee pro melter next month so I am lucky :p Just not keen on the whole purifying the lead bit. I get lead from my sis and its never clean new lead its all scrap so I just melt clean scum and pour with the melter its clean the lead make ingots then use when needed. So much effort :p gas stove for me any day

As I said they fantastic stuff and u will be rewarded for spending time either in the garage or kitchen.

I spend most of my non-fishing days in the garage , and it keeps me and the wife happy , cause when she sees me after some hours in the garage , then she appreciates me again and my shares then shoots up by a few points.  I am in the driver seat again !!!    LOL

Howzit. It is with some concern that I respond to your post. Please understand that I am not trying to be a know-it-all. I would however, strongly suggest that one avoids casting inside the home. Lead dust is a serious health hazard and suggestions I've heard of include thoroughly vacuuming of the exposed area and cleaning hands with dishwashing powder solution! Please note again that I am not trying to be a chop (I was born that way) but I am paranoid about the dangers of the stuff. Nice lures!
