hi Storm ,the best places to target these fish would be rocky grounds and rich reefs.i would say the best place to fish for  em is, south pier,in the bluff, and twini ledges would be most profitable.have seen some come out(white cracker) at sunkist and snake park and also new pier.all on whol mussel with the hook inside the shell.my ol man picked up one once on a fresh sea lice.mine is soon to come

SPLIT THE SHELL OPEN....must still be attached
Place THE HOOK at the round edge of the mussel..barb (hook) standing proud....line upwards towards the pointed side of the mussel.CLOSE the mussel.
The HOOK AND LINE are now inside the mussel,with the hook standing proud....bind with ghost cotton.

NB...LEAVE a few barnicles on the muscle as this assists with the binding on of the shell.
