Oh Yes,

and there were plenty of tiny shad, thus the crowds.

They beeen getting nice kob and snapper salmon as well.

I know of one 0f 4.5 Kg and one of 7kg (Kob) that came out.

Sunday (8th) a couple of big Kingies came by, but none were landed.

One was hooked on shad head and belly, the other I'm not sure.

The water is now super deep off blue lagoon after the storms, and many new rocks have been exposed. Tons of tackle is being lost daily there.

Hi Guys

On the point of tackle being lost its  going 2 play havoc with the bird life. I was at blue lagoon on friday getting hooked into nothing but junk when i noticed a seagull struggling in the surf , upon closer inspection i found it had a hook in its beak and was being dragged down by the sinker attached to it. Together with the help of another chap we released the soaked gull to dry out on the beach.Later on i tangled with this huge pile of junk(seaweed, saree, sticks, etc) not wanting to bust my trace i set about freeing my trace and took home 15 swivels, 9 hooks and six sinkers.
