Our resident Gallie champion has robbed, his entire fishing garage cleared out..
My heart goes out to him, Sparrabos sorry bra..Anyone who can help in anyway, or has any gear to donate or to sponsor please send him a line.

Sparra, can you share the info on this fish and its recapture? It is a record, no? Tag found afterwards growing in its spine. Hopefully we will have you fishing again by the weekend..
Any tackle stores wanting to sponsor the best gallie fisherman on the East coast?

Hi Doc, we are in Cape Town and we will put something together, I need a list.
I propose that someone in PE takes the reigns there and contact Trophy at his shop.
I think a list of what Sparra needs, and a list of what is available should be compiled and he can choose what he needs.

Does he have insurance, suppose not? If so we can contribute to the excess needed to get him going asap.

Sparra, now is not the time to be proud boet. See it for what it is, family of anglers looking after their own.

Nee niks insurance... Alles wat n ou voor gespaar en gewerk het oor jare in n oogwink weg.... Jou hart stokke en katrolle.. Ag wat Dis aardse besittings.. Ouens wat dit het Sal niks met dit vang en Sal bad luck he vir res van hulle lewe.... Net dankbaar en bly my MA en kinders veilig en niks oorgekom.... My hengelmaat leen sy spaar stok en katrol vir my.... Ek Sal op spaar en weer eendag stokke en katrolle kry... Gaan naweek gooi
.. Lol.. Tot my gumboots is weg....

I'm sure we have enough spare rods and stuff lying around to get you kitted out. If i had a tackle store, it would be an honour to sponsor you! I'm sure Lester and the boys at Angling and Marine connection can sort you some line and stuff when you go past jbay..

Just spoke to Lester...Sparra don't worry your other family will sort you out! Send me a list of what you need/what was stolen..Lester kindly said he will sort you out what he can!!! You say you need some new gumboots? Line...hooks..rod...

Anyone ever needing gear or advice in jbay, Angling and Marine Connection is the place, Theo has closed down his place with covid and all affecting business, he has joined up with Lester now..Best bunch of guys, best advice, best prices and always willing to go the extra mile. Legends..I thought the sea was empty before I met Lester and Theo LOL...Lester sold me my first multiplier, told me it was what I needed and I must learn to use it...sat in a box for three years before I realized he was right. Caught hundreds of fish on that reel since then and never looked back. Best fishing advice ever!

Dankie Doc vir jou hulp... Ek ironies een van my katrolle my saltist 40 by Lester gekoop... N ou se hart voel skoon bly dat daar mense met gawe Harte daar buite is... Ja wat n hengelaar laat hom nie onder kry.... Met my maat se spaar stok en katrol gaan vis die naweek... Ek hom nog ore aan gesit met sy eie tackle... Seker maar Baie lucky of vol mustbite.. Lol.. My hengelmaat is nie verniet ou lucky Charlie nie... Dit was nou n erge storm die naweek.. 7 meter see en n wind wat jou omwaai.... Hy was by tye maklik oor 80 km uur.... When the going gets tough the tough gets going...
