The problem is, you kill one of them and you will be in more trouble than what you or your advocate can handle. You will (automatically by operation of their law) be a politically uninformed individual seeking only to assert your false sense of entitlement towards not having your property affirmatively expropriated, the magistrate or judge will be eager to set the precedent and the crowd will gather outside of the court room calling for your immidiate execution. They are probably on speaking terms with the police in the area. You phone the cops to report that you are being broken into and they tell you they do not have car to respond. Phone them 5 minutes later and tell them you have shot and killed the burglars and within moments your house will be swarming with cops looking to arrest the person who killed the holder of more constitutionally guarenteed rights than what you, the honest tax payer, will ever have. The law of this country protects the criminals, not the innocent and least of all, not the angler. Damned if you do and damned if you don't, so just go to the dam any way and be vigilant as best you can.
