It's simply the best: it's free, abundant and has a great scent and colour! There's another free bait that works great, white mussel!aquadementia wrote:I don't touch that stuff !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Dont forget redbait!
You are looking in the wrong place!! Strand reefs will give you more Blacktail than Galjoen. I put all mine back since I dont eat fish , so there is still plenty around!! Look for "off colour" water and some foamy spots and your halfway there. Redbait works the best on the reefs(fresh or "matured")Miss the little guys since I moved from East London to Cape Town .Winter shore angling is very difficult in winter in the Cape and when I stayed in East London I could spend hours targeting these little fish on light tackle idf the elf and other gamefish were not on the bite.
