on this pic I use a 3/0 with a 1/0 trailing hook I take 2 prawns tie them onto the hook then I add chokka over them with 2 strips hanging and the prawns go wild with that chokka I think it also helps to attract some fish with all the movement going on

Some excellent examples of how there's no end to being creative come baiting time... I must say I never considered wrapping them in chokka.

I prefer to put the chokka (blob bait with cotton) on the inside to create a base, then tie the prawns onto the outside even add a float when required (this depends on what is being targeted). The prawns wont slip and the blob puts lots of oil into the water to attract them fish. Nice versatile bait that most edibles will not swim past.

Nice presentations! I will definitely try them out on my next trip! I normally just pt the prawn on its back and either thread it though from the tail to the head or from the head to the tail.

Nice presentations ! Thanks - If you want to pump crackers for the following day specially early mornings plannings for some fishing - don't put the crackers in sand !! The crackers will get squashed. Use some grass leaves etc - wet the contents and the crackers will all survive and you will have fresh bait.
