Received very bad news yesterday afternoon , Due to the complete incompetency and unprofessional manner this venue is conducting business my booking was never confirmed.
Booking made in September last year and deposit paid as requested , So disappointed in this venue. No rectification was offered by the managers and all moneys lost.

Surely you have proof that you paid a deposit so at least you can get the funds back? Management at the caravan park and main dam are a bit suspect. In the long run you might have saved some money actually as the main dam is at 58% so you would have been very far from the water, as I remember you were staying at one of the chalets.

I booked at the main dam. I have proof on email and whatsapp. Even confronting them with this they still refuse to repay back the deposit. I'm probably not the first person they stole from.
Putting all that a side , We then booked at Vosrite fishing linkewaan camp - and had whopper of a time.
Caught carp ranging from 6 - 12 kg's , Even lost my "Hou myself besig" rod to some sort of monster taking all the line then continued to drag my rod in the water never to be seen again.

Must be honest hennie and anet next to useless regarding all problems at the dam.
I had situation there where there where people on boats drinking and driving at midnight on the dam and playing loud music.
I reported it to her, after a few calls to follow up she blocked me on her phone i then phoned the police.
She denied the police access and then she told the guys drinking on the boats that i reported them.
Those guys basicly chased me away loud music on the boat on the dam infront of my fishing spot. Cut my lines. Threatened me.
They need new managers there.
