2nd cast = 142 steps

3rd cast = 156 steps

This is sinker only and on a field

Settings: Spool just able to wiggle(loose)

No loopning of line while in the cast.

Dankie Wilhelm alles werk 100+ %

Sal hom weer toets Woensdag aand inie donker met lekker pillie bait vir Kobus

Bigben...any bearing changes done?

Changes done by Soutie for the previous owner was the following.

Carbontex Drags, Spool polished...The rest std....

Fitting the sideplate to my other T 20 which is factory std..The results are the same.

The long and short of the story is that magging your reels has benefits.

Confidence to realy gooi a reel without reprisals of an overwind esp in the dark.

You dont have to wade to reach outer banks when you could in all possibilty gooi till there.

I cant wait to get my T16 and fit braid and magg it..

had the conversion done by cuban and impressed after a few casts that i cast in a way that would sometimes bring a kraaisnest with a torium.. but with mag kit installed not one

just a general over the shoulder lob but after the second cast i could see can push it to limits as no overrun was felt or heard even with no thumb on the spool

when again at the beach I'm pretty sure i can give it some serous horns in the cast

well done cuban and a pleasure doing business with you ((goodp_((goodp_;)

Hi Flippy and Ben !

Thanks for the feedback guys - we never stop learning !

Jip, many of us only managed to fully load our rods, when we stopped being scared of the "nests" and I had to stop making an overhand knot in my sinkersnoot, sa I would snap it under full load of the rod !

I used to do that, so that I could easily break off the sinker when stuck and rather retain the rest of my terminal tackle.

Yes Marthin, now with the night fishing season here, more of us have to look carefully at our casting setups and even motre so when fishing braid, as very few anglers have the same balance and timing in the dark, that we have in daylight.

Great adjustibility also on the mags of the Torium and some guys even set it slightly slower for night and then faster for daylight hours, if the so choose.

Cheers !
