Was anyone from Sealine at Baileys cottage yesterday eve/ night? Drove past there around 7 and saw plenty of rods and the water looked really really nice, i am sure some fish must have com out in those conditions!

I fished Baileys on Fiday afternoon, my mate fishing with me got a Galjoen of around 40cm on a bloodworm (this fish was returned) and a guy fishing next to us got a nice Steenbras, i recon around 70cm!

Fished very early Sunday morning, lost decent cob and managed to land this 45cm elf (1kg). Could not go out last night, but the water looked good early eve...

Hi Ants

Got it a bit further down. Hope to wet a line tonight, anyone know if anything happened last night? Heard there were couple of small kob at the harbour, any sealiners get fish last night?

Hi Shuff!Didn't get to K/Bay or Baileys last night but tried Wolfgat. But wind chased guys home early & should imagine it couldn't have been any better at K/bay or Baileys.Wasn't even a SE in your face but a gale force Easterly wind & being a cross wind made it awkward to fish.Long time since tried Baileys as i find just 2 or 3 guys and it's awkward to cast or fish there.Did you fish 266 or at Cottage?Don't you lose a lot of tackle there?

Hey Sealiners

Over the past few weeks fishing has been very frustrating for me. I haven't caught anything in a while. Does anyone have some good tips for me so that I can make it applicable on my fishing escapades.

Thanking you in advance

Hi Aquaman

Don't give up, you'll get fish. And when you do, it will be awesome! False Bay has been very poor for many of us this year, and the fishing (along with the weather patterns) seems to be getting more erratic year after year.

It seems it has however picked up a touch over the last few weeks with more consistent and sustained south easters blowing and some fish being caught-I just hope these promising signs continue and result in more fish! There are still decent specimens out there, so just keep putting in the effort, stick to the basics and you'll come right. All the best and I hope you get onto some fish soon!
