Nicely done! Go to Cape Union Mart for the maglite clamps. Ask the manager to order some for you, if you're lucky he'll give it to you for free. That's how I got mine.

Hi Mangi

Did you not have any problems with the weight of the tackle bag on the joint of the L frame? (the L corner)
or did you put some sort of bracket for strength
Shot.

I was worried about the same thing, so I drilled a hole through the frame and connect-it block and put a bolt and nut in there. Feels much stronger and have not had any problems since.

Seeing that the frame has been going strong from 2009, it seems that my contraption works. ::S

Add a supporting link to cater for this. piece of flat alu rivited to upper and lower bar on both sides and you are good to go.

Also waiting for my order from Maizeys.

Any of you recently get the maglite clips in CPT? Where?

My first attempt (hopefully my last... ^^.. although fun to build)
Am using a 30L box and and having it sunk between the rails which makes it a bit wider. Frame sofar still nice and light.
beginning stages

nice, just don't be tempted to fill up the big box, unless off course you are preparing for special forces selection
