hey man that is such an awesome boat, i love your pics

ya will think twice before putting the range in the sea. hahaha

i am starting to think to downgrade my thoughts, but hey i am a proper sandton vaalie BEEGER is BETTER. then i come down use it once because it scares the poop out of me to surf launch, i then got on the fact of buying a house down the coast like arniston etc. my wife loves the idea cause i snuck it around her by saying lets get a awesome house down the east coast that you can decorate etc little does she know that the house is being bought for the slip ways for my maybe new ace glider 750.

jeez i actually am a pillack

Dusty do not think you can launch a 750 or any normal trailer boat from Arniston slip, its like a surf launch on concrete.
Some guys fit wheels that they remove to the side of the ski boat hull, to launch on, a bit of a mission.

The commercial boats at arniston have steel keels and get winched up on the hard, with a massive pulley system.

Find a holiday home nearby a good harbour, buy the 750 and stick it on a mooring.

Or get a 21 - 23ft size, that Nova is a good looking boat and will cost probally same or more than the 750 Ace.

Many manufacturers doing 21ft cats.

Dusty,

Arniston aka Waenhuiskrans is actually not such a bad Idea for the 750. I would not launch at Arniston but Struisbaai has a Slipway that consistently Accommodates 28/30Ft Commercial boats , the 750 Cabin version was actually Specifically adapted for Cape Fishing conditions where you want a cabin to keep dry. Struisbaai is turning into a very good fishing destination with plenty Yellowtail and some Marlin in the Summer Months, In the Next few weeks they will hold the annual marlin competition.

Dusty,

Take some deep breaths and THINK man!!

Best way to surflaunch is surfboard

Then rubberduck

Then jetski

Then smallish monohull with BIG scuppers

House in Arniston=R5,0 mio

Your boat with goodies= R1,2 mio

You pay me R50 000.00, I will come fetch you in Struisbaai, and transport you around the Cape of Good Hope in a decent boat, (Ace Craft 660DV), and bring you back to my posse in Elandsbay, and then proceed to discuss this madness that has beset you over Tas and illicit ocean fare.

By then you should know whether this whole saltwater boating fishing thing is for you
