Beste Ryan

Shimano Beastmaster Tiger Special 10-30lb 2 piece approx R900 and according to Ryan "G loomis are way better rods but value for money the Shimmie Beastmaster Tiger special is hard to beat ".

the shimano beast master for a baitcaster comes in 2 piece.
Please bring a couple extra rolls of 50lb braid we willl buy them off you.
You will also need to bring 80lb piano wire.
60lb carbon coated
Big diachi hooks and heavy duty 5/0 trebbles.
55mm copper effzetts are working well for big fish as are copper tigerwakka no 6's
A big box of 'choice' condoms from the local clinic
You cannot beat the 250 dc although I am using a trini 14 and I find this better for live baiting and trolling - longer line
Hope this helps

Sjoe Ryan. Ek sien dit raak maar alleen daarbo met al die kondome wat jy soek.

EK gebruik Power Pro se Moss Green Braid. Gaan hy werk vir jou? Kom in 150y en 300y. Hoeveel rolle moet ek vir jou saam bring?

Vannoggend 18.5, 2x 16, 14, and an 11 lb tiger het uitgekom.

Die power pro is die braid..... Groen al hoe beter..

EISCH Ryan..!

The Mentioning of BIG Fish like that ..,will make one resign.., sell the house..,trade the wife ,budgies.., but keep my Boxer and just head off to wet some lines man..!!

Honestly..! Please can you elaborate on method of Livies suspended from the condoms/balloon etc..! I am also little confused to as the exact spot that you hook the bait from..,some say behind dorsal fin and some say in front..???

Keep the good news comin..!!

Tight lines and ''Screamin'' reels..!

I also love my boxers! HiJack!!!!
Balloons is just a large float which they use to drift the bait into the current if i'm not mistaken!

Ryan - that is a spectacular fish and pic
hope you don't mind me using it as a screensaver for a while.
I'm planning a return to zim- Lower Zambezi next year for tiger. It has started out as self and a friend (also ex-zim) slipping away quietly for a fishing adventure- now grown into what looks like a special reunion with perhaps up to a dozen friends from round the world next October.......dream on......

The Barotse flood plains is the best place to go for Tigers. Between Mongu and Lukulu. My first trip there was in 1991. 7-8kg tigers was a common size. This is an excelent fish. Congrats!

Wow!Nice Tiger!

Can you believe a farm labourer caught a Tiger Fish around that size with his bare hands when I was a youngster in Clanwilliam, like 40 years ago?

The river going through the Clanwilliam farm, was drying up in summer, and Tiger got trapped  between dry spots on each side of river, with nowhere to go.

With those kinda jaws,I'd rather keep my hands in my pocket, lol!

Great Catch!
Tigerfish-  Clanwilliam in Cape Province?
